Whitney Museum View website Every two years, the Whitney Museum of American Art showcases the most significant and exciting work created by today’s living artists. This year, the 2010 Biennial will feature large-scale works as well as a stage for performance pieces and an entire floor devoted to video art. On Saturday, March 13th, members of the Whitney (from $75/year) are invited to after-hours access to the Biennial with a cash bar in the lounge. The museum also offers special events through the Whitney Contemporaries, an affiliate group of art patrons between the ages of twenty-one and forty.
